Rob Speyer Co-Chairs 38th Annual Inner-City Fund Award Dinner

Last week, Rob Speyer helped co-chair the 38th Annual Inner-City Scholarship Fund Dinner, where guests raised a record $2.4 million in support of Catholic school education for underprivileged youth.

The Inner-City Scholarship Fund was created in 1971 to preserve and promote Catholic school education for all children. Inner-City provides tuition assistance to more than 7,000 Catholic school students within the Archdiocese of New York.

One of the prizes offered during the dinner’s charity auction included a personal guided tour of the city’s historic pubs by His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York. At the end of the night two bidders paid $70,000 each for the Historic Irish Social Establishment Tour.

James Murdoch of 21st Century Fox received the Inner-City Scholarship Fund Award during the event for his work in support of the organization and its students.
