Tishman Speyer Announces 80,000 Square Ft. Lease at 161 North Clark Street by Travelers Indemnity

Tishman Speyer’s Downtown Chicago Office Property is now 92 Percent LeasedTishman Speyer announced today that Traveler’s Indemnity Company has signed an agreement to lease 80,203 square feet at 161 North Clark Street in Chicago.  The transaction brings the building to 92 percent leased.  

The property will now be the home of the insurer’s local insurance, marketing and legal operations, which are being relocated from 200 North LaSalle Street.

161 North Clark is a 50-story, 1.1-million-square-foot Class A office tower located in Chicago’s central loop next to the Daley Center, Thompson Center and City Hall.  Home to a mix of prominent financial services, legal and insurance companies, the building’s amenities include abundant parking, an on-site fitness center, a conference center and access to underground pedestrian walkways to other buildings.  It is conveniently located next to the city’s theater district, prominent restaurants, hotels and public transportation.

Traveler’s Indemnity was represented in the transaction by Scott Goldman of UGL Equis Corporation, Joseph Gordon and Jon Cordell of Tishman Speyer represented the building’s ownership.
